Car Seat 5

Car Seat [Part 5]

By Daring Diane

Chapter 49

Rainbow Dash was clutched tight to her chest as the first light shown through the windows of the nursery. Opening her eyes, Melissa realized that what she hoped was a bad dream was in fact a nightmare reality. She was sleeping in the juvenile bed in the nursery. She found herself squeezing Rainbow so hard, she was surprised the stuffed animal did not explode.

Slowly sitting up in bed, Melissa looked around the nursery and remembered many happy moments here with her daughter. She found herself smiling as she remembered Mary running around the room, bath times, and all the memories associated with watching her little one grow up.

When Mary called, “Melissa, time to get ready for school.” Melissa’s new reality came home.

Melissa visited the bathroom and returned to the nursery. She pulled out a clean school uniform, blouse and then approached the dresser. Opening the top drawer, she found her socks. The second drawer gave her pause. Training pants along with her childish panties felt weird but possibly ok. Her camisoles matched the underwear and again felt ok. But her bras screamed for a re-evaluation. Why would there be bras in a drawer with little girl clothing.

Car Seat [Part 4]

Chapter 41

Melissa was up on Wednesday morning and took another moment to actually look at herself in a mirror before getting dressed. It was depressing. Other than her areola and nipples, her body was at this moment indistinguishable from a very young girl. She was worried about what might happen if someone ever found her like this. Even with her chest, it might be impossible to convince a stranger of her actual age.

Melissa quickly tried to push these ideas from her mind as she put on her childish underwear and her school uniform. Looking back in the mirror, she wasn’t sure if this was better or worse. The school uniform certainly did nothing to convince anyone she was an adult.

The loss of her hair and these realizations sapped more of Melissa’s self-confidence. Trying to assimilate all of these changes in her life, Melissa’s mind wandered as she entered the kitchen and Mary put a bowl of cereal in front of her with some fruit. Melissa wondered when Mary had become the person serving breakfast.

Mary announced it was time to go to school. Mary locked the door as they were leaving to walk to the bus stop. As they walked away, Melissa found herself looking over her shoulder to see if someone was there sending her on her way to school. It felt like there should be someone there to say goodbye.

Chapter 28

As Melissa entered her homeroom, Miss Thompson called her over.

She said, “Melissa I believe the Principal gave you your class schedule. However, if you have any questions on where to go, you should just follow Teresa. She has the same schedule as you do. Ok?”

Melissa nodded, “Yes, Mam.”

Melissa went to her seat. When homeroom was over, Melissa followed Teresa out of their homeroom and three doors down. The teacher asked Melissa her name and saw her name had been added to the class list. Melissa sat in an empty chair near Teresa.

The class was a math class. Class had been going on for about 20 minutes when there was a call from the office for Melissa. Melissa got up to leave. As she did, the teacher gave her a textbook and several sheets of paper with math problems on them. Melissa retrieved her book bag from her locker and put the text book and papers in her book bag. Melissa met Brittany in the office and they left for the office.

Brittany was excited to notice that Melissa had on different underwear. And yet, it appeared more juvenile than her previous style. And, as Melissa had a drink of water, Brittany got a clear view of Melissa’s new underwear in her rearview mirror. Brittany thought that My Little Pony was the perfect design for a little girl like Melissa.

Chapter 16

Melissa soaked in a hot bath and applied the ointment afterward.  She slept on her side that night to minimize any residual pain.  By morning the pain was gone. But, the message was not.  Melissa was going to follow the rules.  She donned her childish panties.  She then put on a cotton bra which she seldom wore.  She did not want to get in trouble for wearing the wrong kind of bra.  Then she added the cotton camisole instead of her silky camisole.  She then checked her uniform and confirmed everything was correct.  She had on no makeup and she had her jewelry in her book bag.
Melissa looked younger than her daughter as they approached the school bus.  Parents who had been watching the slow transformation did not know what to think.
Susan Adams was grabbing a coffee and stopped by to chat with the school nurse.  The nurse asked, “Who got the paddle yesterday?”
Susan smiled and said, “The new girl in fourth grade, Melissa.”
The nurse screwed up her face.  “Isn’t that Melissa Martin Mary's mom.  I thought she was just riding the bus.  Why would you be paddling an adult?’
The school board decided that she has to follow the rules and the state said she had to be assigned to a homeroom.  I assigned her to the fourth grade homeroom since those were the kids she was sitting with on the bus.  But now she has to follow the rules which includes following the dress code. “
“Some of the other girls asked why she was wearing jewelry and makeup.  We had already had issue with her wearing the wrong shoes and blouse.  I told her the last time that if she couldn’t follow the rules, she would pay the price.  Yesterday she agreed she deserved to be punished.”
“The funny thing was that when I went to paddle her I found out she was wearing Victoria Secret silky panties.  That was of course another violation.  So the paddling went on a little longer than originally planned.”
The nurse thought a moment.  “Wow, so she has to follow all the same rules as the other kids?”
Susan nodded. “I think we have it all covered now.
The nurse thought and asked, “Do you want her to follow the rules or are you looking to break her because of her previous tirades?”
Susan got a quizzical look on her face. “Why do you ask?”
The nurse asked, “Did you check her bra?”

Car Seat

Car Seat

Prolog

Melissa Martin was a successful real estate agent in town.  She worked at one of the bigger offices and was often in the running for top sales person each month.
Melissa was the envy of all the young agents coming into the company.  Melissa started as every agent did answering the phones and doing the grunt work.  She worked long hours.  Melissa put in that extra effort that many people were unwilling to deliver.  She rose to the top of the sales ranks in just a few years.  She fielded cold calls, she sought out new listing opportunities and she closed sales.  She sold property other people could not move.
Melissa had style and she dressed the part.  Melissa wore expensive, stylish suits.  Her blouses were the envy of every woman in the office.  She always wore heels of 3 inches or more.  Her make-up was perfect and she wore her hair in a longer style which emphasized that she was a professional but still young.
Melissa kept her personal and professional lives separate.
Melissa was still young
Melissa had her daughter, Mary, while still in high school.  She had given herself to a boyfriend believing that was how she would hold onto him.  When she turned up pregnant, the boyfriend and any others she had known evaporated.  The first few years were hard and her mother helped them a lot.
Melissa never dressed casually in public because she claimed she had to protect her professional image.  The real reason was she looked young enough in casual clothes that people were more likely to think she was Mary’s sister than her mother.  No one but Mary ever saw Melissa in casual clothes.
Melissa could be a task master.  She raised her daughter to be self-sufficient.  She was protective of Mary.  She wanted her to take responsibility for things that were her fault.  But if someone tried to hurt or take advantage of Mary, they would find Melissa ready to confront them to protect her daughter.
If Melissa had a flaw it was that she was willing to do almost anything to close a deal.  Nothing unsavory, mind you.  She got sellers to take a little less and over-estimate the conditions of homes.  She got buyers to ignore potential issues which might cause large surprise expenses in the first year or two of ownership.  She believed that once the deal was done, she was no longer responsible.
Melissa always said, “If you read the rules, you will always know what you are getting yourself into.”  Melissa would point out to people that most of their problems could be attributed to their not reading disclosures or rules ahead of time.  Complaining about them later was tough for them.  If you don’t read the rules, you will pay the price.

Chapter 21

After lunch, Miss Jefferson told Jennifer to go to the principal’s office.  Jennifer started to gather her things.  Miss Jefferson told her to leave her things and head to the office.  Jennifer tried to explain that she would not be coming back.  Miss Jefferson cut her off and sent her on her way with a hall pass.
In the office, Mrs. Barham explained that she was going to take Jennifer over to the administration offices in a minute.  Jennifer had to sit on a wooden bench while waiting for Mrs. Barham to finish up.
Finally, Mrs. Barham got up and led Jennifer over to the administration building.  She left Jennifer there on another bench and headed back to the grade school.
After sitting on another uncomfortable bench for a while, Jennifer was called into an office by Sara Adams.
********************
Moments before:
Sara Adams and Mary Martin sipped their coffee and watched Amanda Barham walking the little girl across from the grade school to the administration offices.
Sara looked at Mary and smiled.  “She looks like any other grade school student.  In fact, if I didn’t know better, I would have thought she was in a lower grade than seventh.  She just doesn’t have the look.”
Mary looked at her with pleading eyes and sarcastically asked, “Won’t you please educate my wayward daughter in-law in your wonderful catholic school?  I don’t care if we have to start all over again.”  Mary was snickering a little at the end.

The Principal or Principles (a Novel length story)

The Principal or Principles
By: Daring Diane
Students challenge Principal to adhere to the dress code.
What could possibly go wrong?
1.    Background
The members of the school board thanked Elizabeth Warren for her wonderful presentation and for sharing her views on the future for the Princess Ann Ladies Academy.  Elizabeth (Beth to her friends) was one of two finalists for the open position of Principal at Princess Ann.  This was the final interview and the board planned to make their decision tomorrow.
Elizabeth highlighted her doctoral work and her quick rise to Principal at her present school.  While she had only been in her position for a little over 2 years, the standardized test scores had improved dramatically.  Teacher and student satisfaction were rated excellent across the board.

Accident At School

Accident at School
By Daring Diane
At 24, Michelle was taking on all kinds of new challenges.  She had just returned from her honeymoon and elopement with Fallon O’Leary.  Michelle and Fallon had dated for a short period of time and decided they were meant for each other.  Fallon was a lot older than Michelle at 45.  He had been divorced for over seven years.  Michelle had been looking for a husband and Fallon was exactly what she had been looking for.  He was successful, trusting and he was not some kid that was going to run around on her.  But he could surely take care of her in the way in which she wanted to become accustomed.
Fallon traveled extensively for his job as a business consultant.  In fact, after getting back from the honeymoon yesterday afternoon, he had taken off this morning on a flight at 5 AM.
This morning, Michelle was alone in the master bedroom of the O’Leary home.
****************
The first time Michelle met Mrs. Perkins, Fallon’s housekeeper, it was clear that she disapproved.  After running into Michelle in the living room, Mrs. Perkins introduced herself.  She asked if Michelle was one of Mary‘s friends.  Mary was Fallon’s 17 year old daughter.
In a huff, she stated, “Of course not, I am Fallon’s fiancé.”  Michelle’s indignant response reminded Mrs. Perkins of a child trying to convince everyone they were more important than they actually were.
Michelle tried to assert herself and provide Mrs. Perkins direction on the one or two times they interacted.  Mrs. Perkins ignored her and pointed out that she worked for Mr. O’Leary and she knew what her job responsibilities were.  On one occasion, Mrs. Perkins declared, “When you grow up, your advice on how things should run may have value in our house.”

Do Clothes (Un)Make the Woman?

Do Clothes (Un)Make the Woman?
By Daring Diane

Chapter 1
"Mom, why do you buy me all these little girl clothes.  I'm in high school.  I need to dress like a woman."
"Young lady, you are indeed in high school.  And someday you will learn that the clothes do not make the woman.  People will love you and understand you based on your character and who you are.   The clothes are just decorations.  I am not suggesting that clothes are not important.  Obviously, for work and important events, we need to dress appropriately.  But, you should work to be a good person."
"Mom, when I wear the clothes you buy for me, everyone thinks I'm a little kid."
"Then I suggest you begin to act more mature.  Then these people will realize you are older and they will treat you that way.  Honey, this is an important lesson.  Baby, you are a sophomore in high school and you are an inch taller than I am.  People don't think I'm a kid.  It is not your size and it is not the clothes.  It is how you deal with people."
"Mom I can't believe you are that naive."
"I am not naive.  I have real life experience and I know how the world works."
"Mom you are just being silly.  The clothes are what people see.  It is how they make all their initial impressions and with kids, they seldom ever give us a chance to show them how old we actually are."
"When you are older, you will realize I am right.  I am absolutely correct and you can bank on it.  Honey, you have to understand that there are things I know that you do not and this is one of those things."
Her daughter looked at her mother and appraised her.  "You seem pretty convinced.  Are you sure enough for us to have one of our bets?"

Chapter 1

The woman stared at her and sarcastically stated, “Well Jennifer, I guess you finally found time to fit us into your schedule.”
Jennifer just stared at the woman.  Finally, she said, “Well, the reason I came in was because I didn’t get my unemployment deposit.  When I called, they said I had to come in.
After a pause, Mrs. Sarcastic continued, “Yes, we can be a little annoying.  I know what an inconvenience it can be to have to come over here and discuss your situation.  I mean being out of work, I’m sure you are keeping a busy schedule.  Have you had a lot of interviews lately?”
Jennifer paused and then admitted, “Not really.  I haven’t gotten a good lead in over a week.  But, I keep sending out the resumes and working the network.”
“That’s great.  Now Jennifer, as you know, when you file your periodic paperwork to maintain your unemployment benefits, you are asked to document your job contacts and resume submissions.”
“Yes, I have tried to do that.”
“And with each of those submissions, you file a statement indicating that you are capable to work and available to work.”
“Yes, I know” Jennifer answered.
“And finally, you are asked if you have received any offers of employment.”
“Right, and I say no and then I am finished.”
“Rrrightt,” Mrs. Sarcastic said staring at Jennifer.  “So just to clarify, you have not received any job offers?”
“No, I have not.”
“Ok Jennifer, can you please sign this form confirming that you have not gotten any job offers?”

Earning a PHD

Earning a PHD

By Daring Diane

As she sat in the headmaster’s office, Christina was relieved.  Christina was completing her PHD in education.  As part of her research, she proposed to observe a 6th grade class for a minimum of 8 weeks.  The headmaster told her the proposal was fine as long as Christina was not a disruption and as long as she worked within the rules of the school.

Headmaster Sarah Winters ran the Applegate Academy for Young Women with an iron fist.

+++++++++++++++++++

Christina was told that all students, teachers and administrators had to read and understand all of the school rules, methodology and disciplinary procedures.  Christina read and signed the documents.

She would be initially observing a 6th grade class.  Christina signed a form agreeing to follow the schedule for the 6th grade students and classes she would be observing.  Depending on what Christina learned, her proposal included an option to work with one of the other grades as her research progressed.

Halloween-School Uniform

“Hello,” There was a pause as the person listened to the caller.

“Yes, this is Carol Parker.”  Another pause followed.

“Yes, It will take me a while.  But, I’ll be there soon.  Thank you.”

Carol took a deep breath and walked over to her supervisor.

“Louise, I just got a call from Mary Carol’s school.  Something happened and she is in the office.  I need to go over there.  Hopefully, I can get back here pretty fast.”

Louise had an understanding look on her face.  “Of course.  These things happen.  If you can’t get back I understand.  I hope everything is alright.”  Louise then got a mischievous look on her face and added, “At least, you’re dressed for school.  Have fun.  It’s Halloween.  Don’t bother coming back.  I’ll see you tomorrow.”

The Endorsement

The Endorsement
By Daring Diane

Shana Marikova had been one of the darlings of the international tennis scene for a couple of years now.  She was cute and had that young look that made her a fantasy for all the fans out there.  As with several other young stars in recent years, she seemed to be more successful with her public relations than with her career.  Though she had some surprise wins over major stars, she just did not seem to be able to actually win a major tournament.  She was breaking even as a player, but she was making money by sponsoring products.   She kept pushing her agent to find a deal that would make her rich.  She along with many on the tour recognized that the long term money was in endorsement deals.

The sponsoring company would have you wear their logo or the company name on the player's hat, shirt, skirt, pants, shoes, bag, or whatever else they could get a name printed on.  Some clothing companies wanted you to wear their clothes even when not playing.  Product companies wanted you to use their products and be in commercials.

The Fixers - Slutwear

The Fixers - Slutwear
By Daring Diane

A young looking girl slammed into the restroom.  She was wearing a tissue thin camisole top with no bra and a micro mini-skirt along with 2 inch heeled sandals decorated with little fake jewels.  Her top stopped mid-belly and she had on way to much make-up.  Her hair was held back in a bandana kerchief.

Chris Kelly was a mother of five with her youngest in high school.  Chris had a bad morning and she and her friends had gone to the mall to blow off some steam.  They were just finishing up in the restroom before the arrival of the young lady in their midst.

The new arrival dashed over to the sink and elbowed her way in front of Chris.  As she turned on the water, she mumbled, "Hey, try not to hog the sink. I need to wash my face."

Chris was taken aback by the rude behavior and responded firmly, "Excuse me little girl, but why don't you wait your turn?  Or at least have the manners to ask before barging in front of us."

Flower Girl

Chapter 1

Rebecca stood staring at the empty luggage carousel.  She knew friends that had lost their luggage, but it had never happened to her, until now.  She looked around and asked a clerk what she should do.  She was directed to the lost luggage reporting desk across from the carousels.  She pondered all of the business trips where she might have lost her luggage.  But no, here she was taking a few days off to be in her friend's wedding and now she had none of her personal items or her clothes.  Thank God her bridesmaid dress was here in town.  But, what was she going to wear for the rest of the week.  She needed to go shopping.  This was not a complication that she or June (the bride) needed in the midst of a wedding.
Rebecca was completing the paperwork for her lost luggage report when she hard, “There you are, I've been looking all over for you.  What's holding us up Rebecca?”
“Oh Molly, thank god for a friendly face.  The airline has lost my luggage.” Rebecca was exasperated. “I'm sorry for the delay.  It's nice to see you.”  Rebecca approached Molly, June’s older sister, and stretched up to give her a hug.  Molly bent down and they exchanged a friendly hug.

HALLOWEEN - THE DOCTOR

HALLOWEEN-THE DOCTOR

Chapter 1.

Melissa Cramer was walking down the hall in her candy striper uniform.  She was looking for Dr. Michelle Carter.  Melissa was a high school junior. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic school for young women where she had been since starting in the sixth grade.  Besides being on the volleyball team and a member in many clubs, Melissa volunteered at the local hospital a couple of afternoons every week.
Dr. Carter, or Shelly to her friends, was Melissa’s idol.  She was a young good looking female doctor.  Melissa wanted to be just like her.  Shelly had warmed to Melissa when they met a few months ago.  They shared coffee and Shelly offered advice on what Melissa needed to do if she wanted to go to medical school.  Dr. Carter was a good person and she got a lot of satisfaction from trying to help another woman get ahead in the medical profession.

Aunt Christina - 1 - Dating

Aunt Christina – 1-Dating
By Daring Diane

Christina Meyer arrived at her late brother Carl's home on Saturday morning at about 9:30 AM.  Christina looked up as her sister-in-law Jean answered the door following Christina's light rapping on the door.  Since Jean was five foot nine and Christina less than five feet, she had to look up to face Jean.  Christina in her shoes and with her hair appeared to be a little less than five feet tall, but in actuality was closer to four and a half feet tall.
“Good morning Christina!”  Jean was wearing a nice cotton shirt and casual flowery skirt.
“Good morning Jean.  I see you are dressed and ready for a day at the spa?”
“Yes!  I've been looking forward to this all week.  I appreciate your paying for this, even if I did win our bet.  The lady I spoke to said it will take about 5 hours for the full treatment and my new hairdo.”
“No problem.  You deserve it.  I know things have been tight since Carl's death.”

The Chaperone

The Chaperone
By Daring Diane
"Excuse me, young lady," a voice boomed down the hall.
I looked around and saw someone's matronly mother looking towards me.
"Who? Me?"
"Yes! You." She was walking down the hotel hall towards me.  I was between her room and the next set of doors heading for the ice machine.  "What is your name?"
"Well miss busybody, my name is Suzanne Treemont, as if that is any business of yours.  And, what is your name, like I care." My attitude was probably a little obnoxious, but hey, who did she think she was?
"I am Mrs. Martin, Suzy.  Are you Maureen Treemont's little sister?"
I hated the nickname Suzy.  "Yes Maureen is my older sister. Do you know her?"  I wasn't sure why we were having this conversation.
"Yes, I know her.  Look, I'm the head chaperone for the scouts on this trip.  Can you please step into my room for a minute so we can discuss a few things?"
